10 years in Israel

Hi All,

Today is the date. Exactly 10 years ago 21 Jan 1998 I came to Israel. Came to study and to live. Came to stay. These 10 years went very fast and now I am looking back to the past with some kind of nostalgy. I see how I from 19 year old naive student became a person I am today.

So everybody who knows me invited to call and ask about the 10 years in Israel + 7 years in Intel party this Thursday.

Spirit of the dance

These months are full of fantastic events and all of them almost at the same time! Looks like this year I am going to spend my Intel QOL budget already in the beginning of the year :)

The Irish famous Riverdance coming to the Israel with "Spirit of the Dance" show and they will perform in Haifa Congress Center three days in a row 31th January, 1st and 2nd February. No matters how much the tickets would cost, I am comin'.

I think I already could call the Riverdance the music and the dance of my soul !

And the second event is ... The Beatles are back! Evening 2nd February the best hits by the Beatles with the Haifa Symphony Orchetsra. Unfortunatelly at the same time with the "Spirit of the Dance" show.

Israeli Go Congress

I got the 4 wins and will receive a book prize when the package with books finially will arrive to Israel.

Totally 50 players participated an my final rating after 6 games is 29th. With my KGS 5k rating I started almost at the end of the list with only few players below me. But one win after another I even manadged to win against 2k KGS ranked opponent. Actually the congress again proved that I can play way better if I think :)

Israel Go Congress and Championship will take place on October 25-27 in Ramat Ha'Sharon.

Subscription to the championship is at first day of the congress, 25 October, between 17:00 and 18:00. The championship includes six games, first game at Thursday evening, games 2-4 at Friday and last 2 games at Saturday 27 October.

The prizes will be awarded to any player which has 4 wins or more.

My cat

Hi, I want to introduce you mycat Kuzya, just for the case will you see him on posters being sold in nearest book store :)

A few weeks ago my mother took a few pictures of our cat and ordered a wall calendar with one of pictures. She received the calendar just in the beginning of the year and recently we figured out that several russian book stores in Haifa selling posters with these pictures !
